Your invitation, account and sign-in: getting into the application portal
Use your mortgage application invitation
Your invitation may arrive by email or text. Open the link from Matt’s team. On your first visit, follow the sign-up prompts to create a password. On a later visit, sign in with the account used for that application.
Keep your application invitation somewhere easy to find. This account is separate from your rewards account: the application portal uses its own sign-in process. Do not assume a rewards email link will open your application.
Before entering personal information
Check that you were expecting the message and recognize the sender. If an invitation arrives unexpectedly, confirm it with Matt using contact details you already trust. Do not forward your invitation to a realtor, family member or anyone not intended to access the application.
Use a unique password. Do not share your password or a one-time security code with anyone, including our team. Use your own device where possible and sign out on a shared device.
If the invitation is missing
Check spam, junk and text-message filters. Search your inbox for the application invitation. If you may have given us a different email address, tell us the address you would like to use. We can help confirm your invitation rather than having you create duplicate applications.
If sign-in does not work
Check for typing errors and whether your browser is filling in an old email or password. Use the password-reset option if one appears on your sign-in screen. If it is unavailable, your link fails or you are unsure which account is correct, contact us for help. Do not repeatedly create new accounts to work around an error.
Tell us the wording of the error, the device/browser you are using and whether you are opening the original invitation. A screenshot can help, but remove personal details and never include a password or security code.
More than one application
If you are working on more than one property or mortgage, confirm with us which application you should use before uploading files. Avoid creating another application unless that is intentional. We will help you identify the correct file.
